Welcome to our Corgi Website. Pembroke Welsh Corgis are adorable herding dogs that are often described as "big dogs in a little package." They originated in Wales and are thought to have been domesticated many centuries ago. Along with their endearing traits of intelligence, affection, and goofiness, they are quite stubborn, a little barky and sometimes bossy. They have excellent herding instincts, many are working cattle herders. Sometimes their zeal for herding, combined with a weak leader end them up in rescue.

On our site, you will find separate pages for Betsy, Albert, Tucker and Scoutie-Pie, our Pembroke Welsh Corgis of the past and present. In addition there is a page with pictures of our Corgi friends, and a super links page to some great organizations, supplies for dogs, and great corgi stuff for we hoomans. This picture taken in April 2002 shows Scoutie-Pie in front, Betsy back left, and Albert center right.You'd think this crew had been together for a while. Truth be told, Scoutie-Pie the rescue Corgi had been with us for three days when this photo was taken. They seem to have made a quick peace. This is more than we had hoped for. Of course, that piece of ham I was holding helped them to focus!

Tucker

Our Newest Addition: Tucker! Tucker moved in on June 4th, 2005. He is a rescue boy who turned 5 in November 2007. He is always enthusiastic and ready to play.
