I'm a little "Devil!" - Halloween 2001

Albert's Story

I was born on April 19th, 2001. One thing I know for sure...my big sister Betsy is the "boss." In fact, everybody seems to be my boss. That is just fine with me. I can really wiggle and love to give lots of kisses. Just give me a ball and I will play for hours. It is hard to believe that I am a year old. My best friend is a Golden Retriever named Roxie - she lives next door. We play together. I went to my first Corgi party last year. I met 12 other Corgis! I wasn't sure what to do. We had lots of fun, I hope they invite me back someday. I am really growing. You should see - I am bigger than my older sister Betsy. I am a long fellow. My daddy teases me that pretty soon I will need a set of wheels for the middle! Everyone tells me that I am the happiest dog in all the world.

UPDATE...long in coming. It is 2007 and I will be 6 years old this year. A lot has happened. I have a buddy named Tucker who has been here almost two years. We like to play with toys and it is usually the same one. I am still a long boy, 26" long and 16" tall. I really grew to be unusually big! My favorite things are squeaky toys and I love to squeak them and scootch the dog bed. An old scootching video is below. I am sensitive to loud noises and like to be in the quietest part of the house. Even though I am a big boy, I'll still jump in your lap for a nap. I listen the best of all the Corgis in the house, and my hoomans call me the mature one. Watch out or I'll bump my wet nose into your bare calf - its fun,fun, fun!
